Martin Vicker

Martin Vicker is an interior and furniture designer. He has built an international reputation for delivering contemporary retail and leisure interiors through his companies Lief Design and Medessin. Martin has been actively involved in promoting the creative industries in the city for many years and is one of the founding partners of the awards.

Vanessa Harrison

Vanessa Harrison is a designer and director of Harrison Ltd. Vanessa specialises in work place design. As well as this, for years she’s been helping put Nottingham on the map and promoting the creative industries. Harrison Ltd was one of the first design businesses to be located in the now regenerated Lace Market area of Nottingham.

Paul Hough

Paul Hough is the Creative Business Development Manager for Nottingham Trent University and director of Nottingham Creative Network, the leading business network for creative businesses in the city. Paul has worked in the city for many years and was involved in the Midland Group, one of the first influential art spaces in the city. More recently, he has been involved in GameCity, the first international festival of video games culture.

Andrew Cooper

Andrew Cooper is a solicitor and Partner at HBJ Gateley Wareing LLP and head of the firm’s property team in Nottingham. Andrew has a passion for the arts and creativity and after many years as a member of the board at Broadway, he is now chairman.

Martin Knox

Martin Knox is an internationally renowned brand consultant and business designer with over twenty years experience of working in retail. He has worked with many major retail and clothing brands including Marks & Spencer, Next, Kangol, Early Learning Centre, BHS, Converse and Cancer Research UK.

Sadaf Amjad

Sadaf is the Project Officer at Nottingham Trent University. A key player in the Nottingham Creative Business Awards team, Sadaf has assisted with the management and organisation of the Awards and the lead-up to the event.

Sally Mitchell

Sally is a project manager in Business Growth and Economic Development for Nottingham City Council. Although she’s relatively new to the city, her enthusiasm and fresh perspective has been an essential part of the awards.

Tracey Meadows

Tracey is an Advertising and Promotions officer at Nottingham City Council. Specialising in an event management, Tracey is a vital part of planning and organising events within the city and has done a great job for the awards.

Emma Buckley

Emma is the Business Innovation Co-ordinator at Nottingham Trent University. She is responsible for event and network management, business development and relationship building with regional organisations.

Becky Smith

Becky is a Project Officer for Sustainable Development at Nottingham City Council. She is a member of the Project Working Group supporting the establishment of the awards ceremony.

Sarah Davenport

Sarah Davenport is Designer and Marketing Manager of Davenport Designers and Cabinetmakers, Regional Board Director of the British Design Innovation East Midlands and recently founder and co-organiser of Unleashed – the initiative launched this year to put Creative Nottingham on the international map.

Jonathan Casciani

Jonathan Casciani is a designer and brand consultant and director of Casciani Evans Wood. Casciani Evans Wood have produced the design and branding for the awards and helped to judge the photography and graphic design awards.
